About the Job
Tyrell is Nyjah’s younger brother, 13-15 years old. (OPEN TO 18+ that can pass for younger) a soulful, sensitive kid who lives through music. He’s creative, observant, and emotionally open in a way that makes him the heart of the group, even if he doesn’t carry himself like the obvious leader. He can be funny, awkward, and reactive, especially when he’s scared, but underneath that is real courage and instinct. In the story, his music becomes unexpectedly vital, so the performance should capture someone who starts as a little brother with dreams and vulnerability, then slowly reveals quiet strength. He should feel warm, human, and deeply believable — a kid whose inner life is bigger than the room he’s standing in.
